Best of City Pages
The folks at City Pages named us the "Best Tattoo Parlor" in their 2008 Best Of issue. We've received this distinction a number of times over the past 10 years. It's always a nice bit of recognition for the effort everyone at the studio puts into providing the best tattooing and body piercing services possible.

Tattoo Gallery Updates
We added a couple of new pictures in both Mike's and Claudia's tattoo galeries. Check out what they've been up to.

What Happens in Vegas...
Sunday is the day that Derek, Jake and Jesika leave for Las Vegas for the APP conference. While they're gone, our newest piercer, Nate, will be handling all the piercing duties in his typical expert fashion.
We will have slightly reduced piercing hours that/next week...Nate will be in the shop from 1pm to 10pm each day.
Organic Jewelry Everywhere
Carrying the largest selection of high-quality jewelry has been our "thing" for years and years...organic jewelry is no exception.
Head over to our blog to find out more about the mother-load of organic jewelry we just got in.

The APP Conference Cometh
Jesika, Jake and Derek will all be headed to Las Vegas from April 20-25, to attend the Associaion of Professional Piercers Annual Conference. This conference is a huge continuing education opportunity that all of our piercers look forward to every year. A week in Vegas isn't so bad either.
Oh yeah...they'll be bringing back a crap-ton of amazing jewelry with them as well.
Jamie = Seattle
Our beloved piercer Jamie Clark will be leaving glorious Minneapolis soon to start his new life in Seattle. We're not sure if it's his love of rain or his love of grunge that is taking him to Seattle, but we wish him the best. We know all of his client will miss him greatly. Thanks for three great years, Jamie.
Never fear though, Jesika, Jake, Derek and our newest addition, Nate (bio and pic coming soon), will be here to take great care of you.
Jesika is Back!
Jesika has returned from her trip to Mexico...much tanner and more relaxed-looking than ever before. She is back in the shop as of today, so stop in and see her. We know she's missed you.

Saint Sabrina's Blog
It's been a while since we've updated. Trust us, we've missed you just as much as you've missed us. In an attempt to get better about keeping in touch, we've decided to start our very own dedicated blog.
We will still post smaller updates here, of course.
Those of you familiar with our Myspace page have been reading our blogs for a while. The new blog will allow everybody to see what is going on at the shop. It will also allow us to talk a little more in-depth about various topics that we just don't have the space for here. For our first entry, we're talking a little bit about the important of high-quality jewelry and the very real dangers that can accompany buying low-quality jewelry.
We hope you'll visit the new blog regularly and leave some comments.
New Tattoo Pictures
While winter is typically the slower season for tattoos, you'd never know it by the amount of work our artists have been turning out.
We just added some shots of a great Bruce Springsteen-inspired portrait Bleach did; they are the last 3 pictures in his gallery. We also added 3 news pictures in Mike's gallery.
Jewelry Abounds
It's true that we get new jewelry in pretty regularly. However, the past couple of months has seen our stock of jewelry increase A LOT. The order of glass plugs we got in a couple of weeks ago is the biggest we've had yet ...well over 300 pairs, including basic color front plugs, Planet Plugs, Galaxy Plugs, Koosh Plugs, Opal Metallic Plugs and more.
We recently got a huge influx of organic jewelry as wel...horn, bone, wood, shell and stone. We have so much in fact, we haven't even gotten it all out yet. When you stop in, feel free to ask to see the stuff we haven't put out yet. We're happy to show it to you.

Oh the new year...Oh 15 years!
Another year is upon us. As always we look back fondly on the previous year and we look forward to what this new year has to offer. We'll save you a boring recap of what important things happened around the studio this past year.
However, we would like to say thank you to all of our wonderful clients. It's you guys that inspire us to constantly strive to expland our knowledge, skills and experience.
Speaking of experience, this years marks the 15th year in business for Saint Sabrina's. That one is a little hard for us to wrap our heads around...so we'll just leav e it at that for now.
We hope everyone had a great New Year and we hope 2008 brings you amazing new experiences. We'll be bringing you some amazing new body jewelry, as well as new tattoo work, so keep checking back.

It's Crunch Time!!!!
So look, you've got 3 days...3 days... to get your shopping done. That's not alot of time to come up with a cool, not-gonna-make-them-cringe gift. Fortunately, we've got you covered.

Available in any amount you like. Available for any of the services or products we offer.
Not to mention, chances are good it will be a way cooler gift than the package of tube socks their grandma is going to get them.
Looking for a unique piece of jewelry to give as a gift? We just got in over 180 pairs of bone, horn, shell and stone jewelry. Most of this stuff hasn't even hit the display cases yet, but don't hestiate to come in and ask to see it.

More colored glass than your church
What's that you say? Your church has no colored glass? Well, it sounds like it's time for you to get a new church, fella. Or, you could just stop in and check out the 280+pairs of color-front glass plugs we just got in. It might take us a couple of days to get them all out, but as always, feel free to ask to see them.
Here's a very small sampling of the deliciousness. Looks like you got a little drool on your keyboard.
Blinded by the light
We apologize in advance if you are blinded by the bling the next time you are in the shop. We recently scored 30 pairs of gem eyelets, super bling gem plugs and single-gem plugs from Anatometal.
As you can no doubt imagine, these pictures don't even begin to do these beauties justice. You can see some better pictures on the Anatometal web site. Or...the more logical choice would be to just come into the shop and see these in person.
You won't be sorry...but you might be mesmerized.
Did we mention you can't get these anywhere in the Twin Cities besides Saint Sabrina's?
Left-to-Right: Gem eyelets from 4ga - 1"; "Super Bling" gem plugs
Single gem plugs in a variety of sizes
Front: Single gem plugs in various colors
Back: 1" teardrop gem eyelets and 1" gem eyelets

29 + 115 = Awesome!
We're not big fans of math either, but in this case it's pretty okay.
First of all, let us explain the equation...29 is the number of pairs of wood plugs we just got in stock and 115 is the number of pairs of various horn, bone, wood, shell and stone jewelry we got in the other day.
No matter how you do the math, it adds up to awesome.
To illustrate this complex concept, here are a few charts and diagrams...otherwise known as pictures:

Wood...from 8ga up to 5/8"

In case you didn't notice the awesome pair of wood plugs with the butterfly inlays
Even though we also got a lot of bone, horn and shell jewelry, we've chosen to razzle-dazzle you with stone...because it's just so darned sexy.

Left to Right: Jasper, Indian Jade, Jasper and Carnelian

The coloring on these Jasper Spiral Hoops is amazing
We haven't put this jewelry out in the cases yet, but feel free come in and ask to see it...and snatch it up before everyone else does.

Ikea <3 Saint Sabrina's
A while back we mentioned that Ikea had been at the studio doing a little filming for their small business web site. Even though it has taken longer than we were orignally told it would, you can now check out the the video they put together about us.
While the video is pretty cool, we're definitely happier behind a piecing needle or a tattoo machine than in front of camera.

The jewelry...it just won't stop
Try as we might to control the flood of jewelry constantly coming into the shop, we just can't. Okay, so the truth is, we actually "kind of" encourage the flood waters of high-quality, 100% Certified Awesome, jewelry to keep rollin' in.
Here are a couple snappy's of some small-gauge (14ga, 12ga and 10ga) ear spirals we just got in. These things have a great shape and a polish that'll straight-up blind you.

These next two pictures are just a bit of a teaser. In the next week, we will be putting out a serious amount of new organic jewelry from our incredible friends at Tawapa. The new stuff will be made of bone, horn, shell, stone, wood and silver. And when we say "serious amount", we mean enough stuff to make you weep.
And here's a close-up of one particular pair that can be found in the bags you see above...gorgeous Tiger Eye plugs:

Ti Spi!!!!
Ti Spi? Ti Spi? What the heck is Ti Spi? We're so glad you asked. Ti Spi is our not-so-clever name for the amazingly beautiful new Titanium Spirals (Get it? Got it? Goooood.) we just got in from Anatometal.
As the Twin Citie's only authorized Anatometal distributor, you won't find these babies just anywhere.
We currently have them in stock from 18 gauge up to 8 gauge in high-polish (silver-colored) and a variety of other colors. There are 16 colors to choose from and if we don't happen to have the color you want in the size you need, we can order it and have within a week.
Here are a few pictures to give you a hint of the awesomeness of which we speak:
8ga Titanium "Blurple" spirals

High Polish, Teal, Black and Blurple Spirals
Warning: Piercing Techno-Speak Folows!!!
The black spirals you see are actually not made of Titanium. They are made of a material called Niobium, which is almost identical to Titanium in terms of its bio-compatibility. Titanium can not be made black easily, the way niobium can, through a heating and cooling process.
